How rude!

I admit I wrote the name down for the email from the agency but it didn't send. So embarrassingly I had to ring again and this time get the correct spelling. I was midway through asking a question and the man just hung up on me! How rude!

Bollocks

I decided to ring a modelling agency so I could go direct to send my photos in. I panicked while it was ringing and I kept on thinking 'Bollocks, what the hell have I just got myself into?'
A man answered and I said hello three times because I was having a moment of sheer panic, I then asked if there was an age limit to modelling(WHY??? WHY GOD WHY!!!). He said no and asked how I old I was and my height. He did say I was bit on the shorter side but he gave me an email to send my photos to. I then said bye at least four times and hung up.
It was probably one of the worst phone calls in my life, except maybe the time I had a phone interview or the time I called up my Grandpa instead of my friend by accident.
Now I just have to pick out some half decent photos. Shit.

Genetics Suck

I hate my genetics. I'm just, JUST under 5"8 so the vast majority of modelling agencies rejected my application within a minute of sending it off. Silly automated emails. I wasn't in a very good mood for the rest of the evening. If there was something I could take to make myself grow just those few centimeters taller, I would.

A Vegetarian Lesbian

My mum came home from work and proudly announced that her boss was not only a vegetarian but also a lesbian. Now this does not happen very often. It made my day, honestly. I don't know why I found it so incredibly amusing. At least she isn't a horrible boss.

Coming soon: Interview with Emma Boyd

If half of you out there have no idea who I am talking about, I suggest you get googling now or forever hold your peace. I don't really know if you would call it an interview, more a set of questions you have to answer. I don't know, I like to call it an interview.

A MAJOR PLUS is that she actually agreed to do it, I mean I wouldn't willingly answer questions about myself but then again I am a very exceptionally private person. I have my facebook and instagram on every privacy settings there is. Shocking, I know. I'm just so happy. My blog is actually heading somewhere, there is now a faint possibility that my blog will become interesting!! *does crazy manic dance around the kitchen*

Coming soon...

I'm sorry, what?

I don't know when I became obsessive about photography, I think it was when I got my first digital camera in Australia. It was barbie pink, it was hideous but it took photos so I loved it. My mum used to give me a disposable camera when I was little to take pictures of everything. Sadly due to my lack of height and hand eye coordination (which I still lack greatly) I took photos of the ground and pigeons. I still take photo's of pigeons. Oh dear. That does not help my street cred, sigh.
Anyway I am getting to something very important here. Before I left England a couple months ago I was prowling around a charity shop and stumbled across a disposable camera. I usually use my Holga 135, Minolta D700 and my Panasonic Lumix TZ-D19 but I couldn't resist, it was basically a roll of film for 50p. I had to buy it! It had only one exposure used so I snapped away with my new found toy. I got it developed and here is what was on it before I got it. Sorry about the bad quality, obviously this person lacked knowledge of using a flash indoors.

Lovely shot of the woman in the shop

NEW ZEALAND FASHION WEEK

I'm not a fashion buff, I read magazines mostly to look at the pictures. I'm sort of like a magppie, I'm drawn to bright colourful and sparkly things. It took me years to love reading novels because it lacked the colourful pictures of kiddy books. Anyway I am going to post some photos from NZFW, not because I know a thing about fashion, but more because I think the pictures are cool. I am also not ripping any of you peoples off, I got the photos off google images.

COOP Trelise Cooper show. This. Dress. I. Want. NOW!

Twenty-Seven Names Show. IT ACTUALLY HAS SOME HALF NORMAL CLOTHES!!

Company Of Strangers. I just like the shoes personally.

Model? Possibly.

I sent off photos to modelling agencies the other day, now all I have to do is wait. If I could cross every part of my body I would. But I know you have to have that certain BAM about you to model, I may not have that. I'm not getting my hopes up. I just wanted to let someone know.

Inspirations

Inspirations.
If I ever became a model, these are the people I would aspire to be like. Of course in no particular order.

Cailin Hill

She is amazing. I can't even put it into words.
Every photo she takes looks like a completely different person.
Also, PALE PEOPLE UNITE!

Ali Michael
@ali_michael
Her instagram is just perfect.
She is what I'm like but she has the guts to post it on the interweb

Amelia Zadro
Basically because we share the same name.
And her eyes though...

ABOUT ME

Everyone needs a post where they can talk about themselves. It is inevitable.

I currently reside on a lump of land under a permanent rain cloud. It's called England. I'm from a country at the bottom of the world, I'm a KIWI.
I've finished school and I don't know what to do.
I have a group of friends which I haven't seen all summer. We do crazy things and laugh for hours, I couldn't even begin to tell you what happens at sleepovers or parties.
My sister has a Puppy which I puppy sit every day. It's a Bichon x Maltese x ShitZhu.
I have no followers on my blog, its saddening really.
I don't really know what this blog is going to be about but for now it's somewhere I can let my thoughts spill out onto the interweb for creeps to read.
I could post a picture of myself but then I don't want anyone to be scarred for life.

Moving countries? Again? Why yes, yes I am.

I just moved countries for the third time.
Third time is the charm.
Hopefully.
Wait no, its five.

New Zealand -> England
Engand -> New Zealand
New Zealand -> Engand
England -> New Zealand
New Zealand -> England

My life in words ^.
This last time we moved back to New Zealand we thought we would stay, it had been going great up until the point the father left us. Turns out he has been having affair with women for 30 years.
HE IS 57.
HE HAS A BEER BELLY.
 HE IS HAIRY.
THAT IS SO GROSS!!!
He said he was a serial predator, I think he meant sexual.
I am scarred for life just from the mental image.
It was sad and everyone is sad. I think I'm over the sad stage and have moved onto the revengeful anger stage. This woman he's with he's been seeing her for 2 years, while cheating on the mother and cheating on another lady. I honestly doesn't know how he juggles three women.
I guess I could say my father has some skill.
I haven't spoken to him in WEEKS he still thinks in some twisted part of his brain that I was forced back to England, I wasn't. I went by free will.

I'm going to miss New Zealand and I'll probably end up moving back there, then back again to here.

I didn't realise how much I was going to miss travelling when we moved back to NZ.  My family spends all their money on travel. I'm lucky to say I've been to over 30 countries and I still want to see more. I forgot how cut off from the world you are down there. I thought I had gotten Europe and America out of my system before we left. I hadn't.

To make the father pay for leaving us, we flew premium economy. It made the 32 hour flight just that tiny bit more bearable

Just look at that beauty.

Challenge: Day 3

Day 3: A BOOK THAT YOU LOVE

BY JOVE!! This is a difficult one, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very x10000 diffcult one. I have HUNDREDS of favourite books so I will narrow it down to a few. For your sake.

This is in no particular order.

UN
Vampire Academy
Richelle Mead
I am pleased to announce that they have now made it into a movie.
I can now drool over Dimitri.
Because now, he is a real person.
Not a book character.
I like all the books in the series but there are a few chapters in certain books which are a bit of a fail...but I don't let that stop  me from reading them.

DUEX
CHERUB
Robert Muchamore
My absolute favorites out of the entire series is THE FALL and THE RECRUIT
Its a kid who is a spy.
It's awesome.

TROIS
Skulduggery Pleasant.
Derek Landy.
It's written by an Irish man, need I say more?

QUATRE
Gallagher Girls
Ali Carter
Another spy book
Awesome again
The first book is quite average because I believe it was meant to be a stand alobe, but God. The rest of them, I COULD BARELY SLEEP.

CINQUE
Bloodlines
Richelle Mead
Vampire Academy spin off
